Convicted felon arrested after Collier County deputies seize trafficking amounts of fentanyl

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — An Immokalee man was arrested in Collier County after deputies seized trafficking amounts of fentanyl from his possession.

James Gore, 44, is facing multiple charges, including fentanyl trafficking, after drugs were found in his vehicle during a traffic stop on Thursday, August 25.

According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, deputies pulled Gore over for speeding around 11 a.m. Further investigation revealed Gore’s license was suspended indefinitely. He was a habitual traffic offender out on bond from St. Lucie County for a pending habitual driving charge.

According to the report, deputies smelled marijuana within his vehicle. They recovered 10 grams of fentanyl packaged for sale.

Gore was booked into Collier County Jail.
