Deputies investigate shooting in North Fort Myers

NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — Deputies responded to a shooting in a North Fort Myers neighborhood early Thursday morning.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said the incident happened on Driftwood Drive near the intersection at Charlau Court, west of US-41. 

NBC2 crews saw multiple units for several hours, both marked and unmarked deputies, plus a K-9 unit and evidence bags. 

One person was brought to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
