FORT MYERS, Fla. – The State Attorney has announced that a Lehigh Acres man has been found guilty on multiple trafficking charges.

After a one-day trial, Samuel Jerome Lewis, 41, was found guilty as charged of trafficking amphetamine, trafficking phenthylamines, and possession of a controlled substance.

On November 26th, 2019, The Lee County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant for a wanted suspect.

Lewis was found parked in the driveway and, after speaking with deputies, consented to a search of his vehicle. In the car, deputies would find a backpack containing hundreds of clear baggies, a scale, and hypodermic needles.

A pat down would ensue, where it was discovered that Lewis had multiple narcotics, including fentanyl, methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana, and morphine sulfate pills on his person.
