LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. – Authorities are searching for information after a man made off with over $5,000 in truck tires from a Lehigh Acres business.

On July 13th, an individual placed an order at National Tire Wholesale for ten Sumitomo Commercial truck tires.

Around 2:30 pm, a Hispanic man arrived in a white Freightliner flatbed truck to pick up the purchase. The driver is seen loading the tires onto the back of the truck before getting inside the vehicle and leaving the scene.

Later, the company determined that the man who picked up the tires was not the person on the account. In addition, the account holder did not order any of the tire or authorize any purchase on his account.

The suspect in the case is approximately 30-40 years old, six feet tall, and around 150-pounds. He was seen wearing a long sleeve blue shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information regarding the man seen in the pictures, the truck’s location, or the tires is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS. You can also submit an anonymous tip online at www.southwestfloridacrimestoppers.com.

If your tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a reward of up to $3,000.
