Manhunt ends after Collier County deputies arrest man running through woods

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — Collier County deputies were in a manhunt following a possible domestic situation at Everglades and 43rd Ave. NE.

According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), deputies were responding to a call at approximately 8:07 p.m.

When deputies arrived, a man ran into the nearby woods and multiple units searched for him.

Deputies were able to locate and arrest the man.

The suspect’s identity and possible charges are unknown at this time.
