Naples man accused of stalking 2 women, leaving panties in front of their home

NAPLES, Fla. — A Naples man has been arrested after he allegedly stalked two women and left pairs of panties in front of their home on multiple different occasions.

According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), on July 4 one of the victims told deputies the man identified as 42-year-old Alejandro Hernandez Perez had left pairs of panties in her driveway on 15 different occasions since June 12.

The victim ordered a RING doorbell and floodlight camera for extra security and requested extra patrol from deputies, CCSO said.

According to the report, On July 4 security cameras captured Hernandez Perez dropping panties in the victim’s driveway multiple times since June 15. The victim wished to press charges due to the stress and fear that made the other victim move out of the residence.

On July 12 deputies were able to connect photos of the panties to a brand sold at Walmart. Footage of a man purchasing seven pairs of panties at the Walmart located at 3451 Tamiami Trail E. matched security footage of Hernandez Perez in front of the victim’s home, CCSO said.

According to CCSO, On July 20 the victim told deputies that she thought Hernandez Perez had just rode his bike by her home. Deputies arrived on scene and were able to confirm the man was Hernandez Perez.

Hernandez Perez admitted to deputies that he bought the 22 pairs of panties which were given as evidence. He told deputies they were for his wife and that he didn’t place the panties on the victim’s driveway despite confirming he was the man in the security footage, CCSO said.

Hernandez Perez faces two charges of stalking.
