Officials investigate after baby stroller catches fire early Thursday morning in Fort Myers


FORT MYERS, Fla. — Officials are investigating after a baby stroller caught fire early Thursday morning on Grand Avenue in Fort Myers.

The Fort Myers Fire Department (FMFD) and The Fort Myers Police Department (FMPD) quickly responded to the scene around 4:30 a.m.

The baby stroller was found on fire outside of the apartments, according to FMFD.

The fire even caused smoke damage to the side of the apartment building. 

FMFD Battalion Chief deemed the fire suspicious.

Crews are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.
