Partners-in-crime arrested for DeSoto County gas station burglary


DESOTO COUNTY, Fla. – Two men have been arrested after being connected to multiple burglaries around Florida, including a gas station in DeSoto County.

Kalvin Flowers and Roger Raysor were put on the radar of the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office after they were identified as suspects for a burglary a Sunoco gas station at the corner of SE Highway 70 and NW Highway 72 on July 26th. Deputies say they used a crowbar to gain entry into the establishment.

Following an investigation, Flowers and Raysor were linked to multiple burglaries around the state, including a gun store in Delray Beach.

On August 4th, The Broward County Sheriff’s Office were able to locate and apprehend Flowers and Raysor on multiple warrants issued out of DeSoto County.

During the arrest, The Fugitive Unit was able to recover three firearms and the crowbar that was used in the gas station robbery.

Flowers and Raysor face charges of burglary, grand theft and possession of burglary tools.
