SOUTHWEST FLORIDA – J.W. Craft portable toilets are on construction sites throughout Southwest Florida, but they are disappearing.
At least six of the company’s porta potties are gone so far. It’s against the law to move them with waste inside.
Jennifer Corrigan owns the company based in Naples.
She says, like most other things, the cost of toilets is going up. With some costing nearly $1,000 dollars apiece.
The company reached out to their customers on Wednesday letting them know they are responsible for any missing toilets.
“They need to make sure their job sites are secure,” said Corrigan.
Corrigan says the company marks where they install porta potties with GPS. They are now looking into putting tracking tags on the toilets themselves to make sure they stay put.
