Suspected burglars on the run after throwing brick through Lee County home’s window

LEE COUNTY, Fla. — The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said someone threw a brick into the window of a house on Muskegon Avenue late Monday night.

The man who lives inside the home told LCSO there was someone banging on his window with a metal scraper.

He saw four men outside. One of them was wearing a ski mask. That man threw a brick through the glass window, parts of the glass cut the victim’s torso and eye.

Neighbors said people tried robbing the house a few years ago, and for a while no one was living there.

After busting the window, the men hopped the fence and took off. Deputies brought in K-9s, but couldn’t find the suspects.

So far, no arrests have been made.
